CHIEF of Standards and Evaluation of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), Air Vice Marshall (AVM) Bala Abubakar, has recommended a home-grown research and development policy to address Nigeria’s deficiency in technology.

He said that major complexities were often resolved through painstaking effort and commitment to research and development. The AOC said that the armed forces, particularly the NAF, had adopted proactive measures aimed at effectively applying airpower in counter insurgency Operations.
