As of March 21, DICT noted that a total of 49,203,064 subscribers have registered in the systems of Smart Communications Inc., Globe Telecom Inc., and DITO Telecommunity Corp.DICT said that Smart Communications Inc. reported a total of 25,097,454 SIMs registered which is 36.91 percent of its 67,995,734 subscribers.
Meanwhile, DITO Telecommunity Corp. reported a total of 3,693,064 SIMs registered, or 28.17 percent of its 13,108,103 subscribers.To encourage the public to complete SIM Registration, DICT is continuing its collaboration with local government units .DICT noted that facilitated SIM Registration is also ongoing which is a joint effort with the National Telecommunications Commission .
