The co-founder of OpenAI, the company behind AI chatbot ChatGPT, recently admitted that the firm “made a mistake” by going woke and that the chatbot’s system “did not reflect the values we intended to be in there,” following accusations of political bias.

. Greg Brockman, the co-founder and president of the business, made the admission in response to Elon Musk’s criticism after Musk cut ties with OpenAI.

In an interview with the Information, Brockman said: “We made a mistake: The system we implemented did not reflect the values we intended to be in there, and I think we were not fast enough to address that. And so I think that’s a legitimate criticism of us.” The potential for bias to be reinforced by AI is one of the technologies primary problems. An AI system is likely to maintain a bias if it is trained on data that is biased against a particular group of people. This is a major worry, especially in light of the possibility that AI could aid hiring and other decision-making procedures. In short, a classic problem of technology, “garbage in, garbage out,” has been turned into “bias in, bias out.

Breitbart still exists? That's a shame.

It’s just like a Google search engine. It’s ridiculously woke.

I bet that cool 10 Billion from Microsoft helped soothe the wounds. Errrg

typical tech biased content - no surprise.

A little late

In other words: 'Elon is about to wreck our shit.'

They lie

That's exactly the way they designed it. Who would believe them.

He’s a fraud. Don’t trust him.

Oh you don’t say

The bias isn’t always trained. AI’s are programmed to learn and make associations given all of the data, if an AI learns that a certain demographic is a poor credit risk, it’s deemed faulty and programmed out, until an AI is permitted to make accurate decisions, it will fail.

Rare guy admits his mistakes, we’ll see if he changes anything.

That's fcukin scary

I knew it was Elon. That's why he left the company.

That's always the case. Whenever a company goes too woke, 'it was done in error' and 'wasn't intended' and 'doesn't reflect our values'

Sure they did.. they embarrassed themself GoWokeGoBroke

Elon Awesome and always

now the PRODUCT is in DISNEY MODE - going down hill

Great, fix it!

Ooops. It just reflected our values. We didn't mean it to happen.

Why Elon ⁉️😆🤣😂🤣

Too late now. Liar
