Does anyone else see the irony that the 1st profession to be threatened by AI tech is art?

Right now 90% of what most people own as “art” is likely machine generated in production anyway. Prints, sculpture etc etc. very few can afford to buy art with any meaningful value as an “investment”. If a human artist can’t be differentiated from AI output is it art?

Human artists in general or genius-level human artists?
