Tumblr introduced a feature that lets its users have two 'Important Blue Internet Checkmarks' for the same price as Twitter's one checkmark, just for laughs.

by changing their names to more official profile names like other celebrities and platforms. And if you want to check and see if an account is official or if the account has paid for the verification, you’d need to do it the hard way— by going to an account’s profile and clicking or tapping on the blue tick.

Tumblr’s version of its “important” blue checkmark isn’t at all for verification purposes as there isn’t much need to do so. A lot of the appeal on Tumblr is anonymity, and celebrities that have Tumblr accounts get a “verification” mostly through just trust and not much else. It also has a sense of humour, by letting users stack those double checkmarks multiple times.managed to spend at least USD 104 to find out that the platform lets you stack up to 24 checkmarks in total.
