DE La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Chancellor Benhur Ong recently welcomed Mary Ng, Canada’s minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, during her recent Philippine visit which included the Design and Arts Campus of the college.

Benilde’s side had Vice Chancellor Angelo Marco Lacson , Dean Maria Sharon Arriola , Chairperson Patrick Astilla , Chairperson Cathy Samaniego , School of Diplomacy and Governance faculty member and Protocol Officer John Paul Mondejar, plus Officer In Charge-Director Rogelio Del Cano ). In one of the Animation Studios, Ng was able to personally view young Benildean student-artists nurturing their creativity and honing their mastery of their craft through the up-to-the-minute applications and all-in-one storyboard solutions of Toon Boom Animation Inc.—a Canadian software company that granted Benilde Animation Program with a Center of Excellence accreditation.
