Technology giants Google and Meta may soon have to pay up in South Africa for the news content they have been displaying on their platforms without compensating media houses for it. | City_Press

Law firm Webber Wentzel has drafted legislation on behalf of media industry institution Publisher Support Services that was sent to the Competition Commission as part of a submission made by media houses in the market investigation into online platforms doing business in South Africa.
