The recall covers Model S sedans and X SUVs from 2016 through 2022, as well as 2017 to 2022 Model 3 sedans and 2020 through 2022 Model Y SUVs. Tesla introduced the "rolling stop" feature in a software update that was sent out to the testing owners on Oct. 20, 2020. NHTSA met with Tesla on Jan. 10 and 19 this year to discuss how the software operates, the documents said. On Jan. 20, the company agreed to disable the rolling stops with the software update.

'lets them'? that's a weird euphemism for a 'self-driving software ignoring stop signs like it was ignoring emergency vehicles earlier.' it's not like Tesla owners gain special legal rights that we don't have; no one is legally 'letting them' ignore traffic laws.

Which is completely legal in California hence the name California stop.

So they drive like there is a driver!!!!
