Hydrogen Scooters With hot-Swappable Can technology Power Forward in France with the new Mob-ion scooter concept.

How do you reduce the carbon emissions of millions of scooters without access to home chargers? France thinks cans of hydrogen may be the answer.Originally launched as a prototype back in June, the hydrogen-fueled Mob-ion TGT promised more than 150 miles of zero tailpipe emission riding from hydrogen canisters about the size of a reusable water bottle.

That’s where the French government seems to think hydrogen can play a significant role, and the Mob-ion, in particular, shows just how simple it could be to “swap” an empty can of hydrogen for a new one. “There is no need to refuel at a charging station,” reads the French government page . “Just go to one of the dedicated vending machines. Kind of like going to buy some drink cans.”

planetofdub France generates over 75% of its power from nuclear / carbon free energy. Thus the carbon generated to create the hydrogen is significantly less than typical power grids. Not sure on how well this rolls out in countries like India 65% coal in September 2021. 💪🏼application 🇫🇷 🌱

Seriously, I was in Paris and all I could hear was the roar of those 50cc scooters. If they just take out the noise pollution it is a huge step forward!!!!!!

How much does a scooter battery weight. Also how far can one travel on this canister of hydrogen.

What a waste

Who needs 240km on a Vespa? Hard to imagine having to drive for 6h w/o a break. It’s a shame the French gvt plans to sink so much money on this ineficiente technology. Green H2 needs to go elsewhere, definitely not here.

It will be a amazing once we develop some sort of swappable container that stores electricity instead of hydrogen.

What's the price diff for fuel cell vs battery

...and the too much energy comes from the french non working Nuclear Power Plants?
