With its legal fight with Apple expected to rumble on through 2022 and possibly beyond, cybersecurity startup Corellium is getting on with business.

in the security community looking to test iPhone security, as its virtual versions of Apple’s famous operating system could be tested without needing to buy new devices—a real problem when a hack breaks iOS. But in recent years, it has gone on to do the same for Android devices and now has a

speciality in spinning up software models of any device using chips based on designs by British tech giant Arm . That includes a significant number of servers and internet of things devices, which covers connected physical devices, from industrial sensors and routers to connected fridges, home thermostats and smartwatches.

Apple provided an image of the Corellium product in action in its lawsuit against the company, as it tries to prove the startup infringed on its iOS copyright.ahead of publication on Thursday, Soo Jin Park, senior manager at Cisco Investments, said Corellium helped developers and security researchers save money and resources on building testing labs.
