This is the real threat the world should dread where terrorism is concerned. Terminating terrorism outright may be a Sisyphean task, but terminating the evil ideology, which is the force that is driving the menace may be the only effective solution to, at least, manage it to the barest minimum.
In recent times, Nigeria has witnessed an upsurge in conflict and violence, mostly occasioned by the ISWAP-Boko Haram insurrection and indiscriminate mayhem, perhaps one of the largest terrorist groups in Africa. Northern Nigeria has been bleeding constantly with no apparent hope that the incessant terrorist insurgence, which is spreading like wildfire across the region, will soon be brought to an end.
