Hitachi’s $9.6 bln buy defies some global logic mak_robyn

Japanese conglomerate Hitachi on March 31 announced it will acquire U.S. software company GlobalLogic in a $9.6 billion deal.

The transaction values the target’s enterprise at $9.5 billion, or approximately 37.4 times adjusted EBITDA for 2021 as forecast by Hitachi.
