150 new jobs are to be created in Co Galway and Co Kildare by technology services and equipment producer Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
The new staff will be recruited over the next two years and will be based out of its Ballybrit and Leixlip offices. The firm has also decided to locate its European cyber security operations hub in Galway, where the specialty area has been under development for the past five years. HPE already employs 600 people here in Ireland, which acts as a hub for its cloud and financial services.
CEO Martin Shanahan said the choice of Galway for HPE's European hub for cyber security operations is an important endorsement of Ireland's advanced technology ecosystem.
