Judging for Phase 1 will occur from December 10, 2020 through December 17, 2020.Phase 2: Awarding plans for sustainability and replication and/or expansionPhase 2 submissions are due by December 8, 2021, 11:59 pm EST.Finalists that move into Phase 3 will be announced no later than December 17, 2021.Competition occurs September 29, 2022 through December 7, 2022.Judging for Phase 3 will occur from December 8, 2022 through December 15, 2022.
Shall not be deemed ineligible because the individual or entity used federal facilities or consulted with federal employees during a competition if the facilities and employees are made equitably available to all individuals and entities participating in the competition; Participants agree that HHS may disqualify the submission if, in HHS’ judgment, the program is inconsistent with HHS’ public health mission, may be ineffective or harmful, or any other reason deemed necessary.
Record Retention and FOIA: All materials submitted to HHS as part of a submission become HHS records and cannot be returned. Any confidential commercial information contained in a submission should be designated in accordance with 45 C.F.R. § 5.41. Participants will be notified of Freedom of Information Act requests for their submissions in accordance with 45 C.F.R. § 5.42.A panel of judges will evaluate the submissions on the criteria identified below.
