Do it and use the money that the Clinton's gained illegally.

Start paying guardian to help

The UK Gov likes to piss money up the wall... ask them.

Or, a meager portion of Vatican gold.

And mark Zuckerberg donates $100m for US elections INFRA-structure 🤦🏻🤷🏻

One third of continuously growing wealth of Jeff Bezos. And he’s not the only one.

In other words, 3 people could end world hunger with no material impact on their quality of life: JeffBezos BillGates finkd what's stopping you?

Bargain. Get to it BorisJohnson, JeffBezos, BillGates, WBuffettEffect

beats putting rockets into space .

Hey maybe billionaires could help

2020 federal budget of $1.4 trillion was approved by Dems as well as GOP, $738 billion of which for “defense'... Defense of what, where?

How much would be spent on arms?

Given the world spends $1.9 trillion on defence, very doable.

The rewards would be greater

If Amazon started paying tax, we might achieve it.

Square root of dick all given that that level of cash was available pretty quickly in the face of Covid.

Too expensive. Easier to save a few hundred thousand from covid with lockdown and a vaccine.

Not a problem, UNICEF_uk is working on it, I’m sure they can spare a few billion

It’s peanuts compared to what the 1% richest elite earns yearly. Ethically and morally it’s their duty to erase world poverty and not poor people.

I realise DarthPutin's tweet is about Belarus, but obvs it has wider implications too.

The world's total YEARLY military expenditures are about $1920 billion. So for about 17% of the yearly amount spent on military budgets worldwide we could end world hunger. Our priorities need to change.

Cheap. Like basic education for all. If did not ended yet is because some don't care. Or don't want.

It is impossible to end world hunger whilst the human population keeps increasing. Money should be used to pay for contraception. Most of the children being born have no future and end up paying criminals to transport them to Europe

Stop producing arms, selling arms to countries across the world, let them live the way they want to live, stop spreading your ideology, the world will be truly a better place! No more hunger, no more racism!

The problem is having too many children when their parents knew they are in poverty! Stop irresponsible parenting!

This also needs discussion

Interestingly Google profits are running at $34bn / year, so could cover this with change left over. Now THAT would be big tech bringing benefit!

33 turns up again

That's it?!

Or Jeff Bezos weekly income

Not if you shop AldiUK

It's already cost 30 trillion and it hasn't made the slightest bit of difference, stolen off poor people in rich countries and given to rich people in poor countries, It's nothing but organised theft.

Yea, but, Capitalism

Or 2 decent sized bricks.

This is no way enough! What a nonsense story.

We were nicely on target till government overreaction to Covid, hit the poor and now poverty rises again Pure evil stupid selfish government

Or instead of producing commercial luxury crops produce staple crops for local consumption!

It needs to be done in conjunction with education. Too many starving nations are ruled by self serving thieves. Educate the people and let them control their own futures.

So if all the world’s billionaires or be it anyone above a particular threshold donate 1% or even 0.1% of their wealth could end it.

Hmmm if only there was something the 1% who avoid taxes, funnel money to offshore accounts, got bailouts and became grossly richer during the pandemic, could do to shorten this? 🤔🤔

That’s it? Should be done today!!

World hunger is just another cash cow like war and cancer. The filthy rich take our money off us and send it too 'poor' countries but take several bites out of it before it gets there.

A huge dent in that figure is easily found in the windfalls handed back to the uber wealthy & corporations by GOP & realDonaldTrump TaxReformScam 🤔

Is that all?

Or, half a Jeff Bezos.

Who’s getting paid that $330 billion, out of curiosity? Economics are complex. While people can’t be trusted to PAY THEMSELVES for a problem they’re complicit in creating. Access to food is a symptom.

Best to look at the actual study, underlying research efficacy the authors, their actual experience and assumptions. Then you can possibly form an ‘opinion’.

Doesn’t sound like lots of money when you consider how much is wasted building nuclear weapons...

If those in power wanted to end world hunger, that would've been done 80 years ago.

Don't you think He eud have Landed!

Petty cash to the top 10% of the worlds rich elite who sit atop the wealth pyramid completely numb to anything going on below them.

Wow! And Bezos net worth increased over $70bn since March. I guess some humans deserve life that much more 🤷🏻‍♀️?! Capitalism sucks!

tell it to mukbangers :D

About ten of the richest people in the world could fix that, and still have money to spare. 💰💰🌻🐧

The baby's eyes and heart hurt.🥺🥺🥺

End hunger. At the same time, decrease the rate of reproduction. Humanity is choking the planet.

ФАК ОФФ

This is stupid. It could cost 0 too.

So for a fraction of what GOP & realDonaldTrump handed over to the uber wealthy & corporations in the TaxReformScam, we could have ended world hunger.🤔

I know where we could get that...

Can Bazos spare a few?

So theoretically the next president could half the US military budget and end world hunger

Seems like a pretty small price tag, considering.

Fucking bargain. Seriously. That's so little money. Compared to the 1%.

Would rather spend that on pints

Seems like a pretty small price tag, considering.

Only if we continue the massive inequality that exists throughout our society

Tupence on a global scale

But you’re saying it’s possible
