QUEEN ELIZABETH II was furious when rumours on the internet stated Prince Philip had died and decided to call him herself to check on him back in July 2018, according to royal insiders.

The 93-year-old monarch and her 98-year-old royal consort have been fighting off reports of declining health for several years now, but a recent claim that Philip had passed away rolled around again this week amid coronavirus fears. Yet, he defied the rumour mill once more and was helicoptered to be with his wife, the Queen, in Windsor Castle yesterday.Apparently the rumours once appeared so convincing that even the monarch was concerned about her husband’s health.
